Cambridge Leadership Development Program 2025

The Cambridge Leadership Development Program (CamLDP) is a prestigious program in integral leadership development, organised by The Integral Leadership Lab AGH in collaboration with experts from the University of Cambridge. The 2025 edition took place from 7–11 July 2025 in the heart of Cambridge – at the University of Cambridge, one of the world’s most important ecosystems of science, innovation, and culture.

For five days in Cambridge, seventeen Polish academic leaders experienced first-hand the mission of TILL – providing professional and inspiring support on the path toward integral leadership. CamLDP is an intensive, modern program, rooted in interdisciplinary research and offering a unique opportunity to build a true community of leaders. Participants deepened their competencies, re-affirmed and redefined their values and goals, and broadened their leadership perspective in the unique environment of Cambridge.

What is CamLDP?

CamLDP is more than an executive education program. It is a developmental journey, a space for reflection, and a transformative experience that brings together intellectual inspiration and practical action. The program is built on the Integral Leadership Framework – an approach that emphasises the holistic growth of a leader: values, attitudes, personality, and relationships. Participants had the opportunity to work with distinguished experts from the University of Cambridge, explore its unique ecosystem of science, business, and innovation, and share experiences within a close, trusted community. The program was complemented by the cultural richness of Cambridge – including a jazz concert in the Botanic Garden and a formal dinner in the historic King’s College.

Our Experts

Behind every inspiring change are people who know how to combine knowledge with experience, vision with practice, and scholarship with real impact on the world. In this year’s edition of the Cambridge Leadership Development Program, participants had the unique opportunity to work with a group of experts and lecturers shaping the future of leadership at one of the world’s leading universities – the University of Cambridge. Among them were researchers, mentors, business practitioners, academic leaders, and creators of innovative development programs.

Each brought to CamLDP not only knowledge rooted in years of research and experience but also a unique perspective. Thanks to them, these five days in Cambridge became an intense intellectual and personal journey

University of Cambridge

Professor of company law, financial regulation, and corporate finance at the University of Cambridge, former Pro Vice-Chancellor, and the first woman in the university’s history to hold a full professorship in law. Her research and advisory work have significantly influenced financial policy in the UK and the EU. A Fellow of the British Academy, she combines academic excellence with public and financial sector advisory roles.

University of Cambridge, Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership

A strategist in values-based leadership, expert in sustainability and organisational culture. Former CEO of The Møller Institute, currently with the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, where she designs programs integrating ethics, business strategy, and societal goals. As a business coach and Chartered Director, she supports leaders in navigating complexity and building high-performing teams.

University of Cambridge, Emmanuel College

An experienced academic leader, Life Fellow of Emmanuel College, former Secretary General of the Faculties of the University of Cambridge, and Vice-Master of Emmanuel College. Co-founder of the Cambridge-MIT Institute, he developed international partnerships and higher education strategies. With a background in economics and engineering, he has advised European research networks, shaping policy and innovation in education.

Cambridge Enterprise, University of Cambridge

Innovation and R&D funding consultant, PhD in Materials Science from the University of Cambridge. Works with Cambridge Enterprise and St John’s Innovation Centre, supporting universities and businesses in knowledge commercialisation and international project development. Extensive experience in knowledge-based enterprises and securing R&D funding.

Margaret Beaufort Institute, Cambridge

Principal of the Margaret Beaufort Institute of Theology, specialist in ethical leadership, leadership resilience, and burnout prevention. Her research and training support leaders in finance, education, and sustainability. Author of The Ethics of Burnout, she focuses on leader well-being and building a culture of care in organisations.

Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas, Rome

Lecturer in Leadership and Virtues, certified executive coach, and mentor supporting leaders in their professional and personal development. With extensive experience in strategic consulting, project management, and pastoral work as a Dominican priest, his research focuses on meaningful work, integral human development, and values-driven leadership.

The Integral Leadership Lab AGH

Co-founder of The Integral Leadership Lab AGH, expert in integral leadership, program designer, and leadership mentor. He has over 20 years of experience in education, mentoring, innovation, and entrepreneurship. As co-founder of Collegium Wratislaviense and the Two Wings Institute, he has played a significant role in shaping the development of Polish higher education.

CamLDP 2025 – Day by Day

The first day of the Cambridge Leadership Development Program 2025 began with an introduction to the concept of Integral Leadership – the framework at the heart of the entire program.

In his opening session, Piotr Czekierda presented integral leadership as an approach that weaves together the intellectual, emotional, spiritual, and social dimensions into a coherent whole. It is a form of leadership in which the leader can be fully and authentically themselves, while empowering others to become more fully themselves. This unique way of leading draws out what is good, true, and beautiful, fostering growth and harmony, and inviting each person to live more fully. Piotr emphasised that it is not about radically changing the nature of a leader, but about deepening, refining, and nobly strengthening it – also by having the courage to face one’s own story and the temptation of “quick fixes.” The session also introduced the TILL philosophy of learning, rooted in presence, experience, reflection, creative exchange, and the joy of discovery.

We then moved into the first central theme of the program: How do you build a world-class university? Prof. Eilís Ferran – former Pro Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cambridge and the first woman to hold a full professorship in law at the university – shared her experience of leading an institution of global significance. She spoke about how to combine academic excellence with an inclusive culture, how to maintain the highest standards under financial, geopolitical, and technological pressures, and how crucial it is to balance strategic thinking with everyday care for people.

On the second day, Dr Anna Abram invited us to explore the less obvious dimensions of leadership – those that begin not with strategy or procedures, but with the question of who we are as human beings. We spoke about maturity – understood not as solitary autonomy, but as the ability to combine responsibility with care, courage with humility, and principles with empathy.

Drawing on the ideas of Lawrence Kohlberg, Carol Gilligan, Erikson, Kant, and Spinoza, we discovered that true leadership matures where we can face conflict without seeking domination, listen attentively, and act with the courage to step beyond our own comfort. Dr Abram showed that integral leadership is rare and complex, but possible – if rooted in inner coherence, openness to change, and the ability to lead oneself in uncertainty

The third day was devoted to discovering that integral leadership begins with listening – to others, but also to oneself. Gillian Secrett invited us to see leadership as a process grounded in purpose, relationships, and courage. We discussed four dimensions of future-ready leadership: connected leadership, collaborative leadership, creative leadership, and courageous leadership. We worked on finding our own “why” – the inner compass that enables us to lead in a way that is both coherent and sustainable.

Later, Dr Piotr Janas guided a deep personal reflection on meaning in leadership. We explored the stories behind our leadership paths, the transformations we truly seek, and the challenges that are our current teachers. We discussed hope – not as naïve optimism, but as a conviction that life retains meaning even in uncertainty – and resilience as the capacity to turn difficulty into growth

The fourth day took us into the world where science meets entrepreneurship and innovation serves the greater good. At Cambridge Enterprise, we saw how the University of Cambridge supports the commercialisation of research while maintaining a strong sense of mission. We discussed how research projects can mature into ventures that solve real problems, showing that success and purpose need not be separate.

In the evening, we gathered for a formal dinner in the historic halls of King’s College. More than a celebration, it was a moment of reflection – a chance to look back on four intense days, recognise our own growth, and connect the threads of the program into one shared narrative.

The final day was a time to pause and reflect on the journey. Dr David Livesey left us with a thought that became the essence of our week: quality is fitness for purpose; excellence is being truly good at delivering it. It is not about imposing order by force, but co-creating meaning strong enough to resist chaos. This requires attentiveness to people, daily improvement in small things, deep listening – and a smile, even in difficulty.

The week’s end was not a conclusion but a beginning – with renewed energy, stronger relationships, a deeper sense of mission, and a readiness to lead integrally.

From 6–10 July 2026, we will meet again in Cambridge – in places where tradition meets the courage to think about the future. Five days to slow down time, make space for conversations that matter, explore new perspectives, confront questions without simple answers, and build relationships that last long after we return home.

At the heart of the program will remain integral leadership – an approach that combines competence development with self-awareness, inner coherence, and the capacity to act in a complex world. We will be joined by outstanding experts from the University of Cambridge and leaders from various fields – people who inspire and listen with equal attention.
